Agona Swedru police are examining the circumstances surrounding the death of a 45-year-old man. Joyce Okyere, Francis Efrim’s wife, is accused of hitting him with a piece of wood.
As a result, he was transported to the Agona Swedru Government Hospital, but a medical practitioner pronounced him dead upon arrival.
After hearing the report, officers went to the hospital and discovered Francis on a stretcher. A severe cut on the deceased’s forehead was discovered during a police investigation.
The body has been sent to the hospital’s mortuary for preservation and autopsy. The suspect, Joyce Okyere, is being held in jail and assisting police with their investigations.
