When tomorrow denies today, only these questions may be left; how possible? How come? When next? And how next?, but the only answer left for them is also a long bitter silence. Before you continue, try answering this question: have you done enough today to have hope for tomorrow?
Will your tomorrow look back on today and smile? What do you do today? When do you wake from bed? How long do you sleep from 24 hours? Do you have a planned day? How often do you break yourself from daily duties? Is procrastination your slogan? Do you grin about your day when retiring to your bed? Do you have an idea what happens if tomorrow denies today? Do you give up? Do you always use another tomorrow to make today right? Are you a culprit of Jimmy Lyon’s quote, ”tomorrow is the only day in the year that appeals to the lazy man”?
If you perceive your tomorrow from today, do you see happiness? Do you see joy? Do you see success? If you judge your today, do you see a day well spent or well wasted? Do you see a day whose sweat will turn to wine tomorrow? When your tomorrow denies today, who becomes your saviour?
Is this Scottish quote, “what may be done at any time can be done at no time” for a Procrastinator or a Striver? Are you a slave to hard work or a slave to lazy work? Are you an ant or an anteater?
Whoever you want to be is in your hands. Whatever you want to see tomorrow is done today. Vince Lombardi made this statement, ”the difference between a successful person and others is not lack of strength and or knowledge, but a lack of will”. Get your will right and high and correctly motivated and directed. As ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense”
Always remember, today is the most important day of your life, don’t misuse it!
