GPRTU has announced that transport fares will go up again starting July 18.
GPRTU announced this recently in a statement released to the general public.
They said fares will go up by 20% hence Ghanaians should not be surprised when they here them from drivers.
Fuel and diesel prices currently stand at 10.99 and 13.09 cedis each per litre respectively.
Ghanaians have bemoaned the quick rises in transport fares and general commodity prices.
The government is yet to do anything substantial about it.
