Tottenham signs Spence from Middlesbrough

Tottenham have signed Djed Spence from Middlesbrough.

He’s signed on a five-year contract in a deal worth up to £20m.

The right wing-back, who completed a medical at Hotspur Way, has signed until June 2027.

Spurs agreed a deal that will see them pay an initial £12.5m, with a further £7.5m coming in performance-related add-ons.

Spence has become Spurs’ sixth major signing of the season, following the arrivals of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma.
