Romelu Lukaku Is Back! Chelsea Announce The Second Coming Of Striker

The champions league winners have announced the return of their former striker Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan. In a fee believed to be a record signing for the blues, Lukaku’s return will solve Chelsea’s goal scoring issues from last season.

Its been ten years since Chelsea first signed a teanage Lukaku but after a few first team appearances, he was sent on loan spells to Westbrom and Everton before sealing a permanent move to join the Toffees. He later joined Manchester United before leaving for Inter Milan where he joined ex-chelsea coach Antonio Conte.

Lukaku won Serie A MVP last season having won the league title with Inter Milan who did so by breaking Juventus’ dominance in the Serie A.

Chelsea have not properly replaced Diego Costa since his departure and with the arrival of Lukaku, many expect a commanding and clinical striker for Chelsea. Lukaku’s goal scoring records speak for it self and Chelsea fans will hope his presence will enable the team score more from the numerous chances they create.

It has been widely reported that the Chelsea board are happy with the work Thomas Tuchel is doing and will back him in this transfer window. This means after the signing of Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea fans should be expecting at least two more signings. They have so far been linked with the signings of Joule Kounde of Sevilla who is a centre back and Aurelien Tchouameni, a midfielder that plays for Monaco in France.
