The Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, is scheduled to appear in court today, Monday, September 20, 2021.
As reported earlier, on September 15, 2021, an Accra High Court granted him bail in the amount of GH200,000 with two sureties.
He and three other accomplices had been remanded by the court previously.
Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum are the three. Two more suspects are on the run and being pursued by the police.
Six counts were filed against Owusu Bempah and his associates.
They all denied the claims, which included threatening to assassinate Patricia Oduro Koranteng, also known as Nana Agradaa.
On September 12, 2021, Owusu Bempah was arrested after he allegedly ordered his boys to fight police officers who were present on his Church grounds.
The authorities were there to apprehend some of his boys who had threatened Nana Agrdaa with guns in social media videos.
