Ofori-Atta must resign over IMF move – Kwabena Agyapong

Former General Secretary of NPP, Kwabena Agyapong, has called on Ken Ofori-Atta to quit his job for taking Ghana to the IMF.

According to him, it is wrong for the Finance Minister to continue to hold office after all he said about the IMF.

He called Ofori Atta out for questioning the decision of the previous government to enter into a program with IMF.

However, Ofori-Atta has said resigning is not the best option now.

“I will not resign, there are times that decisions have to be made for the survival of a country”, the finance minister said.
