Organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have began announcing the nominees for the Awards.
Organizers will continue to announce more categories every hour until 9:00 pm.
They will then make the final announcement for the Big 5 Categories: Best New Artiste, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Artiste of the Year.
Ahead of this year’s ceremony, airing live on May 13 from the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), the nominees for Best Gospel Song, Best Hi-life Song, Best Hip-life Song, Best Afrobeats Song and many more have been announced.
Friday Night, Stubborn Academy, Grace, Ewiase By Kweku Flick will compete for the Best Hip-life song.
Atia by Epixode ft Kwabena Kwabena, My Proposal by AK Songstress, Adi Dede by Adina, Adom by Kwesi Arthur, Kelvyn Boy’s Down Flat and Have Mercy by Kofi Kinaata will also fight it out for Best Hi-life song.
Best Gospel song will be awarded to one of the following nominees: Final Say by Celestine Donkor, Waye me yie by Piesie Esther, My Meditation by Diana Hamilton, Kadosh by Joe Mettle.
Others include Hewale Lala by Perez Muzik, Tegbe Tegbe by Bethel Revival Choir ft Edwin Dadson, This Far by Ewura Abena and Mala by MOG music.
