On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, Suleman Twih Brempong, the Techiman South National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary, was attacked during a constituency executives’ meeting in Tanoso, a neighborhood of Techiman.
During a meeting, the NDC Secretary was allegedly beaten by a gang of men in plain front of constituency leaders, although the reason for the incident is unknown.
According to accounts, the attack may be linked to an event that occurred within the Techiman South NDC during the 2020 elections.
The victim was brought to the Ahhmadya Muslim Hospital in Techiman for medical treatment after the attack.
The Techiman Divisional Police have been notified of the occurrence.

The NDC’s Techiman South Constituency Communications Officer, Hajj Tanko, who was there, said that the thugs were sent to attack the Constituency Secretary by the Techiman South NDC Chairman, Nuhu Saliu Faawa.
He claimed the attack was “pre-planned.”
Nuhu Saliu Faawa, on the other hand, refuted the charges, claiming that a disagreement arose during a meeting with other party executives in Tanoso about their performance in the 2020 national elections.
