Silver 98.3 FM, a popular radio station in Kumasi Bantama, has been destroyed by fire, according to trending reports.
The station, located on the last floor of the Silvercrest building, caught fire on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
DJ KA, a radio journalist with Silver 98.3 fm, said the fire began in the early morning hours while their sports crew was preparing for a sports show.
He even claimed that a technician on duty had to jump through the windows to save his life.
According to DJ KA, images show almost every single item, particularly electronics, completely burned.
The good news is that no serious casualties were recorded save one.
