Argentina booked a place in the final of the Copa America after Emiliano Martinez became the countries hero in the penalty victory. Argentina who took an early lead in the first half through Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez were held back in the second half after Luiz Diaz equalised for the Colombians.
Messi and Argentina will be hoping for luck to shine on them this time around in the Copa America final as they book their place but they have to worry about Brazil. Brazil has always won the Copa America whenever they host it and this year as they are in the final, they will be looking to keep this record running.
After their win against Peru, Neymar indicated of his wish to meet Argentina in the final and his wishes have come true. Messi on the other hand will be looking to cement his name as the greatest of all time (GOAT) if he is able to win this trophy as the only thing missing in his illustrious career is a major international trophy.
