Bridget Otoo, one of the most articulate newscasters in Ghana took a break from the TV screens for sometime and her ardent listeners who missed her could only read her thoughts on events from her social media handles. Fast forward to this year (August 2), she was announced by Metro Tv as their evening newscaster and many Ghanaians reacted to the news by sending her warm messages.
In a tweet Bridget stated how the process of her resuming to the screens took shape. The tweet reads, “We go again; I got a call from someone I revere months ago and I didn’t think much of it. Then another, a few weeks later, put the sheer volume of the task ahead in perspective. I had to take five to wrap my head around it but shortly after, the third time was the charm …”.
