Nigerian singers Buju and Ruger are the latest celebrities in the ‘beef’ game.
The events of the beef, according to a twitter user, are as follows.
‘Snapchat’ hitmaker Ruger replied to a tweet which compared him to Buju, saying he is better than the latter because his hit songs are not “features” like Buju.
Other twitter users fueled the reply and eventually Buju also replied, starting the ‘beef’. See below.
According to Buju, his project ‘Sorry I’m late’ is “still above” two of Ruger’s projects on Apple Music.
He also alleged Ruger owes his boss money and also insinuated that Ruger “begs for features”.
It has since been a series of back-and-forth tweets online.
As expected, Nigerian Twitter is in flames over this ‘beef’. See some divided tweets below.
It is unclear how long this ‘beef’ will last but only time will tell, and if this would not be to create hype for an upcoming project between the two, like most artistes do.
